There’s also the matter of data collection.  I use some tools like Google Analytics to keep track of traffic to the site.  That means that I’m collecting generic information about your visit for some reports.  I would never gather any information that I wouldn’t mind being gathered about me, though; there’s never anything personal.  We’re talking about where you’re from and what pages you clicked on  here…very standard stuff.
